Connect on the Coast with August

We are happy to invite you to our event at Strindberg by the Sea on Thursday, September 19th, 2024!!

At August, we build our culture on genuine human interaction. That’s why we want to offer you the chance
to truly connect with our consultants and fellow students, while enjoying dinner, drinks, and the seaside scenery.

The event will start at 16:45 from Helsinki, where we will hop on a bus that takes us to the beautiful Espoo seaside
via Otaniemi. We will enjoy a delicious dinner at Strindberg by the Sea in the Haukilahti harbour.

During the dinner, you will get to discuss with several of our consultants and learn why they have chosen August
as their professional home harbour. Afterwards, we will continue the evening at our office in Helsinki.

The event is intended primarily for 3rd-5th-year students from Athene, Guild of Physics, Aalto BT, Aalto Economics
and KTTO who are curious to learn about strategy consulting and internship opportunities at August.

We welcome to join in Fall 2024, you will be located in our office in Helsinki but with readiness to travel and work on projects at our client sites. You will be working in projects in both Finland and Sweden, and therefore proficiency in Swedish is a big plus.

Come join our Afterwork with EY Consulting on Tuesday May 31st! There you will get to participate in a case solving workshop, get tips for cases and interviews and get more familiar with EY Consulting! 

In this event, you get to learn more about how to approach case problems and strengthen your creative thinking in a team-work setting. There will also be EY consultants giving you tips tricks on solving business cases and giving valuable insights about our culture and recruiting in a casual setting. 

Event will be hosted at the 4th floor of our office, in a TestLab which will give you a sneak peek to our new office opening in the summer 2023.

We are recruiting a Marketing Chieftain to drive our ambitious business goals. Being responsible for marketing, you will be working in a high-impact role in the core of our business. At Recordly, we believe that marketing and sales is a joint effort. Marketing is not an add-on, it’s at the core of digital sales. Therefore, in this internal marketing role, you will be working in tight collaboration with the team. We also see marketing as taking an active role in making our company values visible for our future employees.

As a Marketing Chieftain we expect a growth hacking mindset. You have the skills and courage to investigate and suggest small experiments as well as bold moves. You know how to reach buyers and users in different channels – both digital and real-world.  You should be at ease with digital marketing by having hands-on experience in the field and by following the latest trends. You are used to planning and executing social media marketing campaigns. You may also have experience in optimising graphical materials for campaigns and landing pages. Since we work in the techie industry, we hope you to be somewhat familiar with data related matters to be able to curate credible content. 

By nature, you need to be analytical and like to solve problems. You are able to bring clarity to uncertain situations, and you know how to analyse the results of your work by deriving business insights from data. You are ambitious and results-oriented in everything you do, but you like to have fun as well.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have working proficiency in the Finnish language as well as excellent written and oral skills in English
