The General Assembly has the highest decision-making power in our association and the Autumn Meeting elects the board for the year 2025. All members of Aalto BT have the right to vote and voice their opinions on the subject club’s most important matters.

Connect on the Coast with August

We are happy to invite you to our event at Strindberg by the Sea on Thursday, September 19th, 2024!!

At August, we build our culture on genuine human interaction. That’s why we want to offer you the chance
to truly connect with our consultants and fellow students, while enjoying dinner, drinks, and the seaside scenery.

The event will start at 16:45 from Helsinki, where we will hop on a bus that takes us to the beautiful Espoo seaside
via Otaniemi. We will enjoy a delicious dinner at Strindberg by the Sea in the Haukilahti harbour.

During the dinner, you will get to discuss with several of our consultants and learn why they have chosen August
as their professional home harbour. Afterwards, we will continue the evening at our office in Helsinki.

The event is intended primarily for 3rd-5th-year students from Athene, Guild of Physics, Aalto BT, Aalto Economics
and KTTO who are curious to learn about strategy consulting and internship opportunities at August.

The legendary Product Development Project (PdP) is coming again! 

What happens when you give interdisciplinary student teams real industry problems, 10 000€ budget and 9 months time to develop their ideas into products? Whether you are from TECH, BIZ, ARTS or any other background, we welcome you to answer that question.

Too often you hear from the company recruiters that the graduating students aren’t ready for the work life, and we want to change that. The idea of PdP is to provide students a unique chance to put their learnings to practise and give you real experience you will need in the working life. 

You’ll learn how to: 

  • Communicate and collaborate with other disciplines 
  • Apply your own background in innovating real products
  • Navigate the development process
  • Work in a large, interdisciplinary team
  • Take responsibility by becoming the Project Manager
  • Build big things

Each PdP team has a company sponsor, who provides a real problem, budget and support. There are projects from many fields varying each year, typically including medical, design, IT, and engineering!
