Save the date! The Case Cottage is back! Wait…what’s that?
A weekend in a cottage of hot tubs, saunas, swimming, and having a darn good time with friends! You will probably even get to make some new ones. But that’s not all! After hearing how awesome this sounds, our partner Tietoevry has decided to join us, and they will be providing an exciting case to solve and present. Tietoevry will be joining us on Saturday

What: Case Cottage with Tietoevry
Who: BA and ISM students. More experienced students are prioritised.
When: Friday October 7th, 1630 to 9th October (more info below.)
Where: The beautiful forest of Loppi, Finland

What is included: Case experience, transport, beds, towels, food, beverages, and super fun times.

Aalto BT will be providing the transport and meals during the cottage trip as well as offering drinks of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties.

Whilst we will provide for everyone, you are welcome to bring your own additional food and drink if you are extra hungry or extra thirsty.
We will make sure to cover dietary requirements for the trip in our signup! The meal schedule will be:

Friday: Dinner
Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Evening grill snacks
Sunday: Breakfast

Anything else: Bring your thinking caps, swimming trunks, and chilling skills because there’s going to be plenty of fun activities all weekend long!

Participants will be informed of their place at the latest 26.9 by their contact email. Get your case solving skills ready!

Bus will depart at 1630 from Otaniemi to the cottage on Friday the 7th of October, the trip is about 90 minutes.
Bus will depart at 1200 from the cottage on Sunday the 9th returning to Otaniemi.

It’s time to take your backpack and head to the peaceful nature since Aalto BT’s fall hike is here. Together we’ll go on an adventure to Nuuksio’s beautiful nature paths, hike the 3,7km route and enjoy delicious trip snacks.

We will be going to Nuuksio with ride-sharing, so the number of participants depends on how many cars will be available. You will receive a confirmation on Tuesday 20.9. on whether you have a ride.

You can also come to Nuuksio – Haukkalampi with public transport with bus 345. Note that with the bus it’s your responsibility to be there on time and find the rest of the group. If you have a car, please consider giving a ride to other eager hikers and announce it on the sign-up form. Car riders who offer rides to others will be compensated for the gas.

During the trip Aalto BT will offer you soda and hot dogs so no need for your own snacks (unless you want to). You will only need a water bottle, appropriate clothing and backpack. The hike will happen unless there is a huge storm so dress accordingly! If you need to cancel your participation, please do so 24 hours before the beginning of the event.

So you’re going to be studying a bachelor’s degree in ISM! Excellent! The Business Technology board (Formerly Aalto ISM) welcomes you to our opening event!

Come join us all for a relaxing low-barrier shindig where you can get to know each other, the Aalto Business Technology board, some information about your new bachelor’s all while hanging out in one of the coolest rooftop locations in Helsinki.

Be there or be square! And bring a towel if you want to sauna! I know I will!

Merlin’s beard! The day you have been dreaming for is coming to life, finally you can escape those unpleasant Dursleys and join us at Hogwarts! So pack away your inkwells and quills, don your most magical robes, and pull out your wands because a magical night of Hogwarts themed sitsit is ahead!

Bring your goblets for some butter beers, fountains of magical potions, and traditional goblin songs. However, please keep in mind the forbidden forest is strictly off-limits!

We will have an award for the best costume, and we encourage you to not only dress as Harry Potter to avoid a Battle of The Seven Potters scenario, but also choose some other characters.

WHEN: Friday the 13th at 1800 onwards
WHO: All ISM students looking to attend Hogwarts. Program will be held in English with a mix of songs as usual.
