We have heard your wishes for an event! Aalto ISM welcomes all new and old ISM students to a casual hangout outdoors on Wednesday 4.8. at 18:00 onwards in Vanha Kirkkopuisto. The picnic is a great place to network with other ISM people, meet new faces, and connect with some of our alumni as well! ISM will provide some snacks and drinks, but you may also want to take your own and BYOB (bring your own blanket).

We want to especially encourage all new bachelor’s and master’s ISM students to come enjoy the sun and meet your new study buddies.

Please sign-up for the event before joining so we can keep the event safe for everyone. The sign-up is open until the event so no sign-up is a late sign-up.

If you are sick or have any symptoms that could be COVID, please do not attend the event.

Wappu is here, time to celebrate!

Casual Sima Break with Aalto ISM on Thursday 29th April 2021 at 18-20.

Time to pour a glass of sima, grab your munkkis and serpentiinis, and join other ISM people to get to the Wappu spirit. We’ll be hanging for a couple of hours in Zoom from 6pm onwards on Thursday 29.4. Join Zoom with code 610 6640 4642 or through the Facebook event.

The sima break is a casual event with no specified program, so feel free to join at any point. The break is hosted by Aalto ISM board members.

Aalto ISM:n Mursuinfo 3.5. klo 18-21

Pääainevalinnat lähestyvät ja maanantaina 3.5. on sinun tilaisuutesi tutustua tieto- ja palvelujohtamisen eli ISM:n opiskeluun. Mursuinfossa kuulet millaista on opiskella tieto- ja palvelujohtamista, mitä opintoihin sisältyy ja mihin pääaineesta työllistyy. Tapahtumassa on mukana niin ISM:n opiskelijoita ja alumneja kuin professoreitakin.

Osallistujille on tiedossa herkkuja, joten ilmoittauduthan 30.4. mennessä linkistä ylhäällä, ettet jää nälkäiseksi! Herkkuja jaetaan 3.5. neljällä sijainnilla: Otaniemi, Jätkäsaari, Arkadia ja Leppävaara. Tarkemmat noutoajat ilmoitetaan myöhemmin.

Liity mukaan 27.4. klo 18-19 Aalto ISM:n Mursu Coffee Breakiin, jossa voit rennosti jutella ISM:n hallituksen ja muiden opiskelijoiden kanssa sekä kysellä askarruttavia asioita!

Coffee Break on Aalto ISM:n järjestämä joka viikkoinen tunnin hetki rennolle keskustelulle. Kahvihetken tarkoituksena on tarjota mahdollisuus tavata uusia ihmisiä, purkaa ajatuksia opinnoista ja myös tavata hallituslaisia matalalla kynnyksellä. Mursut ovat tervetulleita myös kevään muihin kahvihetkiin, joista pysyt perillä seuraamalla meitä Facebookissa ja Instagramissa (@aaltoism) sekä tilaamalla uutiskirjeemme.

Mursuille tarkoitettu Tuta Kickoff 23.4.2021 klo 18-20.

Tuta on ISM:n ”nimikkokurssi” ja siksi Aalto ISM haluaa antaa sinulle, Mursu, parhaat eväät kurssin onnistuneeseen suorittamiseen! Liity siis perjantaina 23.4. klo 18 Tuta Kickoffiin, jossa pääset tutustumaan kurssin aihealueeseen, ISM:ään ja mikä parasta – saat parhaat vinkit kurssin suorittamiseen sen jo suorittaneilta. Jos siis Tuta tai ISM herättävät sinussa paloa, tai haluat saada erinomaisen arvosanan kurssista, tätä ei kannata jättää väliin!

Illan aikana Aalto ISM:n hallituslaiset tarjoavat omat tärppinsä kurssia varten, sekä pääset kisailemaan muita Mursuja vastaan ISM/Tuta-visassa, jossa jaossa on kasa 15€ Wolt-lahjakortteja! Lisäksi julkaisemme Tutan kurssiin liittyvän kisan, jossa päävoittona 100€ lahjakortti Verkkokauppa.comiin. Jännittävää!

Tuta Kickoff on Aalto ISM:n järjestämä tapahtuma, jonka järjestämisessä eivät ole mukana yliopisto, laitokset tai kurssihenkilökunta.

Time to grab a cup of coffee and take a break with Aalto ISM! The board will host an hour of casual chatting once a week where you have a chance to voice your concerns or just get some socialising in these remote times.

The Coffee Breaks have been discontinued for now. If you are interested in having more, contact the board and we’d be more than happy to organise some!

Social distancing continues and it is taking its toll on everyone. Aalto ISM board members want to support you through these times the best we can. In need of some casual socialising and small talk? Join us. Want to give feedback about your studies or discuss course matters? Join us. Do you have ideas for the board or feel like you want to be involved in board matters? Join us.

We want to kindly welcome Mursus as well to join and have a chat about what ISM studies are like. These coffee breaks are a great place to get to have conversations with the students of the program!

The coffee break is a casual event with no specified program, so feel free to join at any point within the hour. The hour is hosted by Aalto ISM board members. If the timing is bad for you, please let us know so we can schedule a better time for the upcoming breaks!

Weather’s getting warmer and Easter is getting closer. Join Aalto ISM and Accenture for some COVID-safe Easter fun and hunt for amazing prizes.

Aalto ISM x Accenture Easter Egg Hunt on 24.-31. March 2021.

Aalto ISM and Accenture are organising an Easter Egg Hunt to brighten up the pandemic days of our students. Together with Accenture we want to be involved in supporting your wellbeing and encourage trying different activities indoors and outdoors. The event will be organised as a remote competition to complete different kinds of tasks in a week. The tasks will include easy and fast ones as well as more complicated so feel free to join the competition on a very low barrier. The event is free for participants. We have prepared amazing gift bags for the most active participants!

For completing at least 3 tasks:
– Goodie bag filled with easter sweets and other goodies
For the top 10:
– Goodie bag filled with even more easter sweets and other goodies
For the top 3:
– Goodie bag filled with a huge selection of easter sweets, other goodies, and a Wolt-gift card

Here’s how to get involved in the fun:

Check out the event on Facebook, the sign-up link will be posted there on Tuesday 23rd March at 12.00. After your sign up you’re ready to start warming up for the hunt! You will receive instructions on the tasks and for completing them via email. Be quick with the sign-up, spots are limited! Winners will be asked to pick up their prizes on 31st March.
